Paul Wacker is a dedicated Christian Conservative. Paul is stepping forward as a constitutional conservative to advocate for the preservation of our American freedoms, Constitutional Rights, and Traditional American Values. Iowans deserve elected officials who share our values and political leaders who are not afraid to stand up to those who attempt to attack and demean our sincerely held beliefs.

Paul’s platform focuses on preserving our Constitutional Rights. Paul supports private property rights, election integrity, school choice, parental rights to raise their children according to parental moral values, and the Right-to-Life. Paul champions religious and medical freedom, quality healthcare, protection from government overreach, and he defends the Second Amendment for law-abiding citizens. Paul will promote policies that prioritize American workers, our farmers, and Iowa families over those who aim to undermine our way of life. He is committed to preserving what makes Iowa a truly unique and remarkable place to call home.

PAUL'S PRIORTITIES

ADVOCATE FOR SMALL BUSINESS:

Create a government environment that promotes small businesses. This produces strong families.

PRO FAMILY FARM:

Corporate or foreign ownership of farms compete with the foundation of our farm economy over multiple generations. It is not old fashion to have families producing the vital products that end up in our grocery stores. Bigger is not always better.

PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS:

No Eminent Domain for Private Gain.

PRO 2nd AMENDMENT :

The 2nd Amendment was designed for citizens to defend themselves, no matter the adversary. Strict gun laws are already on the books. Every citizen must have the right and ability to defend themselves, particularly in light of efforts to de-fund law enforcement

PRO-LIFE:

Advocate of life.

HEALTH CARE:

Health care is vital for all Iowans with an added emphasis on those in the rural communities. Doctors must have the freedom to make their own professional decisions unfettered by government mandates or government funding. I will fight for critical reforms to increase access to quality, affordable health care that Iowa families can afford.

END HUMAN TRAFFICKING:

Human Trafficking involves the exploitation of others for labor or sex. It is modern-day slavery and it exists and even flourishes in places we don’t want to think about right here in Iowa. In the context of labor trafficking, it is the 21st century version of the underground railroad – only in reverse – the trafficking victims are indentured to servitude, not freedom.

ELECTION INTEGRITY :

Election integrity is a serious issue. Paul believes voter ID and citizenship requirements are necessary to bring faith back to our elections.

EDUCATION :

Parents are their children's first teachers. Paul believes that every child should have an opportunity to learn and that parents should have the right to choose the best educational options for their children. Paul believes that Iowa schools should focus on academic excellence and student proficiency in core academic subjects and he supports School Choice. School curriculums must return to teaching American civics, patriotism, and morality. Parental and community involvement and local school board leadership have proven to be effective for generations.

ELIMINATE WASTEFUL SPENDING:

The state of Iowa must be good stewards of Iowa Taxpayer Dollars. The legislature must regularly review and audit all state spending programs. Attention should be focused on eliminating fraud and wasteful spending across all government agencies and NGO organizations around the state of Iowa.
